A Case of Boodles Gin:
A case (12 bottles) of Boodles Gin. Every batch of Boodles Gin is made with labour and patience. It begins as a clean spirit distilled from British wheat. The liquid is then redistilled in a Carter Head copper still, which allows the botanicals to infuse gradually into the spirit. Our unique recipe contains botanicals sourced from the finest growers around the world. Interestingly, Boodles Gin contains no citrus botanicals - a practical decision made by original distillers who expected a proper drink to include a slice of lemon or lime. The Boodles recipe also contains a number of traditional herbs and spices, including nutmeg, sage, and rosemary. These ingredients add a mellow but herbal quality to Boodles, which balances out the essential piney notes from juniper. A further five ingredients round out the recipe and achieve a forthright but subtle spirit, suitable for any proper drinks - Martinis, Boodles and tonics, Bucks, or further mixology, for those so inclined. Kindly Donated by Boodles.
A Bottle of Hine Family Resreve Grande Champagne Cognac:
Created in 1936 by Francois Hine, initially for the famous New York retailer Sherry-Lehman, this quality is a blend of a small number of very old Grande Champagne cognacs. Each cognac was identified and selected in its early days by the cellar master for its ability to sustain over 50 years of aging. An exclusive Grande Champagne, proudly and sparingly released each year in a limited number of bottles - a few hundred worldwide - to be enjoyed by connoisseurs as truly exceptional cognac. The Hine House has stood on the banks of the Charente River in Jarnac, France for over 250 years. In 1962, the house was granted a royal warrant from HM Queen Elizabeth II as suppliers of cognac. Today it is still the only cognac house to hold this honour. The prize is Kindly donated by Hine
Royal Tokaji Single Vineyard Aszú Presentation Case 2008:
This is a bitter sweet moment. This 2008 vintage offer will be the last such offer, as we know it, comprising all our 5 single vineyard wines. Why? Because the Tokaji weather pattern prevented us from producing any single vineyard wines in 2010,2011 or 2012. Only Mézes Mály in 2009 and no Birsalmás in 2013. So the next “Royal Flush” may or may not be in 2014, to be released, at the earliest in 2018. A long, long time to wait. We are offering all five single vineyard wines plus our Gold Label 6 Puttonyos in a gloriously seductive red lacquered gift box. This makes a wondrous acquisition for any collector. Total Production: Mézes Mály (1,644 bottles), Szt. Tamás (2,232 bottles), Nyulászó (4,056 bottles), Betsek (4,596 bottles) and Birsalmás (1,184 bottles) which is only available in The Royal Tokaji 2008 Single Vineyard Aszú Presentation Case 2008.
